Hello blog. You’re looking better these days than you had been. Certainly more cheery. Keep on doing whatever it is you’ve been doing.
Remote apartment hunting sucks. If you know of some unoccupied space where I can park myself for a few months, please let me know.
I bought a MacBook Pro yesterday online. I was hoping Mr. Steven P. Jobs would slip in something about the laptops getting an upgrade to Merom, or maybe they’d just do it without telling anyone amidst all the iPod hoopla, but nothing. I’d like to get set up before school starts so I just went for it. There’s always the 15 return policy in case a new version with exciting new features comes out. In other words, look for the MacBook Pro Special Edition around the end of the month.
My summer classes are finally over as of the end of last week. They ended up being compelling evidence for the value of being able to write a passable essay in a few hours over skills like “remembering when stuff is due and working up the willpower to do it”.
Finally, check out this music video by Klaus Nomi. You may not want to watch it at work. I’m not saying it will get you fired, but you may no longer be on the fast track to an executive position within the company, if you know what I’m saying.
…and your new MacBook purchase makes three, after hopson’s actual purchase and Scott’s near-miss-but-I’m-going-to-buy-one-any-day-now purchase. I might have to hop aboard the MacBook bandwagon and increase my apple laptop collection to… two!
