I haven’t been up to much since graduation, certainly not getting my write on bloggy-style. Mostly filling out job applications online and playing World of Warcraft, and occasionally dinking around with some programming. I got to experience a wide variety of processes, from the big company that flies me out and pays for everything after seeing my resume to the local small company that seems almost comatose in the speed they respond to calls and e-mails.
Not something I’d do recreationally, so when I got an offer from Philips for their medical systems group in Irvine, California, I decided to go for it. Sticking around Portland would have been nice but I’ve had my fill of sitting around. Thus did I find myself watching nearly all my worldly possessions get loaded onto a big truck yesterday, now making the journey south. I will be boarding a plane tomorrow and getting there ahead of my stuff and will be looking for a place to hold all of it.
So yeah! Awesome.
