New York New York

 May 21, 2007

I went to New York City last week for a business trip. I didn’t do a lot of sight-seeing but I did wander around Times Square a bit since it was right outside my hotel and office. I also stumbled my way through the subway system to go to Ground Zero. Good pizza, crazy drivers, brave pedestrians, lousy hotel room.

Cool Pics!
I guess I got your blog looking for places to eat in NYC - which are plentiful and very good, I know, but… I have no life. Also, I’m curious as to where you stayed when you were there. Hotels are hit-or-miss in NYC. I usually stay in Times Square, too, at the Ameritania. It’s right on Boradway and 54th, next to Ed Sullivan Theater (Letterman). The rooms are small but it is clean. Just a suggestion.

I stayed in the Best Western President Hotel on W 48th at Broadway. The room was okay except the bathroom had issues and the iron didn’t work. If it hadn’t been on short notice than I definitely would have tried to find a nicer place.

Thanks for the hotel suggestion. I’d love to go back some time and do some sight-seeing, maybe get tickets for Letterman or one of the other late night shows.
